Sugar Free Gumballs
Sugar free gumballs often appeal to people who are diabetics (who are not supposed to have simple sugar in their diets.) Other people I have run across don't want kids in their businesses eating so much sugar, so they have requested sugar free gumballs.
Should you as a vending operator sell sugar free gumballs? You have to evaluate the account that requested it. If it is a $70 stop each time, then it might be wise. If not, I would not waste my time. I had 2 or 3 businesses that have consistently asked me for them but I would not sell them because the businesses did not have enough sales volume. The gum would have gone stale and I didn't want to lose money or mess with extra inventory (including placing a special order for them through Sam's Club).
You will have to make your own decision based on your own set of circumstances, but my advice to you is NOT to get too spread out selling 12 or 15 kinds of products in your bulk vending machines. Sugar free gumballs have the potential to be a real dud, so do your homework.
