What Type of Machines Should
I Buy?
There are several different types of machines which
can be used for Bulk Vending. Several companies have been around for
decades with a good track record. Here are some tips to
consider:
What materials are they constructed
of? Are the internal mechanisms plastic or metal?
This is one of the most important questions. Plastic machines may be
slightly less expensive but have a much shorter
lifespan.
What type of Bulk vending am I interested in
doing? This can help you determine the best choice of
machine. If you will mainly do toy vending (novelties) you may want
to specialize in a type of machine which caters to toy
vending.
What is the cost of the
machine? Some machines can be $150 or more for the
machine and a stand. It may be worth that price if you intend to
stay in vending for a long period of time. I personally use Beaver
vending machines out of Canada which have a great track record of
performance. These are the "Cadillac" of vending machines but are
pricey to buy and get delivered. They are great to "all-around"
vending of toys, gumballs, and candy.
Have you
considered buying an existing route? You may be able to
find someone wanting to sell an existing route which would bring your cost
of machine down and have instant cash flow from machines already being on
location.
Have you considered buying USED
machines? Most machines can be rebuilt with new globes
or bodies to make them look almost brand new. Used machines are
usually easy to find and can often be bought for pennies on the dollar if
you are willing to get the machines on location yourself. This can
save you a lot of money and help you pay off your initial investment much
quicker.
