Vending Profits: Quick Ways to Increase, Pt.2

In part 2 of this article, we'll look at simple ways to increase vending profits from your Bulk Vending machines.  These tips come from my personal management of over 2,500 machines across a 400+ mile area.  I have personally proved these tips work and have increased my own vending profits:

KEEP YOUR MACHINES CLEAN.  I cannot stress this enough. If I have a choice as a customer, I'll buy from a clean machine as opposed to a trashy and grimy looking machine (especially when considering my kids).

WORK ON BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH EMPLOYEES AND OWNERS.  This doesn't take long.  Greet them immediately when you walk in to service your machines.  Be warm and friendly even if you don't feel like it.  If they like you it will influence which machine they buy from if you have competition in the business.  Honestly, I have found people will buy from your machine not because they like the product so much but because they like you.  This is an important principle of sales.

STUDY BOOKS ON INCREASING SALES.  This goes back to treating your machines like a business.  Real businesses have to focus on sales.  Study how to make sales (get new accounts) from people who have mastered the art of selling.  It's not about the product as much as learning how to present yourself coupled with the product.

ADD MORE CHOICES TO EXISTING ACCOUNTS.  This means adding additional machines where you already have a gumball or candy machine.  Don't forget to consider adding toys as an option besides candy and gumballs.  Bouncy balls can be a cheap alternative at around 4-5 cents per vend for the cheaper general mix balls.

Vending profits can be increase by actively making some of these changes in your business. Why not change some of these things today?
